Reason, season, ...
Someone once told me "People come into our lives for a reason, for a season or for a lifetime".
It is SO true!
There are people who come into our lives for a reason. And when that reason is fulfilled, some of them say good bye, some of them hurt us before going, and others just disappear without saying a word.
There are also people who come and stay in our lives for a season, or a very short time. They usually hurt us and go away, or just leave without any farewell.
There are very few people who stay in our lives for a longer period or for a lifetime. These are, maybe, only the members of our families. And, sometimes, some very close friends.
Each person who enters our lives means a new life experience. It is sometimes happy, other times unhappy. But we learn a lesson each time.
But how can we learn how to protect ourselves against being hurt so many times or so often?
